Early Monday morning, security forces initiated an extensive search operation in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir following a terrorist attack on a bus carrying pilgrims. The tragic incident resulted in the death of ten pilgrims and left 33 injured when the bus, en route from the Shiv Khori shrine to Katra, was attacked and subsequently plunged into a gorge at Kanda Morh near Ransoo on Monday evening.

"A coordinated effort by the Indian Army, Police, and Special Operation Group commenced at dawn to track down the terrorists responsible for the attack," reported official sources. They also confirmed the use of drones to locate the terrorists hiding in the forested area.

The bus was transporting pilgrims from outside Jammu and Kashmir, who were returning to Katra after visiting the Shiv Khori shrine. Due to the attack, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to fall into the gorge.

The injured pilgrims are receiving treatment at various nearby hospitals
