Dharwad, Karnataka - June 14, 2024: North Karnataka residents can expect a continuation of cloudy weather for the next five days, according to Dr. RH Patil, Nodal Scientist for the MWAAS Project in the North Interior Karnataka (NIK) Region at the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) Dharwad.
While widespread rain is unlikely, Dr. Patil predicts the possibility of very light to normal rain showers in isolated places across the NIK region. Additionally, medium-paced winds are expected during this period.
This forecast comes as the monsoon strengthens its grip over Karnataka. While coastal and South Interior Karnataka regions have already witnessed moderate to heavy rainfall, the NIK region seems to be experiencing a delayed monsoon arrival.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather reports, especially farmers who may need to adjust their agricultural activities based on the rainfall patterns.
