Dharwad,July 26, HUBLI EXPRESS NEWS: Due to continuous rainfall across Dharwad district and prevailing cold winds, DC Divya Prabhu has ordered today evening to extend the holiday already given on July 25 and 26 to July 27, 2024, for all government, aided, unaided pre-university colleges, primary schools, high schools, and anganwadis throughout Dharwad district.

In a statement issued regarding this, she said that most parts of the district are experiencing continuous rain and cold winds. Considering the health and safety of children, a holiday has been declared for all government, aided, unaided pre-university colleges, primary schools, high schools, and anganwadis in the district.

DC Divya Prabhu has instructed the Deputy Director of School Education Department and the Deputy Director of Pre-University Education Department to compensate for these holidays by conducting additional classes on upcoming public holidays.
