The Hubballi Town police have seized 1,127 grams of ganja and arrested 13 individuals on Monday. The police team acted on a definite tip-off that a few individuals had brought ganja from an undisclosed location and were selling it within their police station limits.

Following the tip, the police apprehended thirteen suspects. During the operation, they seized Rs 6,300 in cash, two motorcycles, and four mobile phones from the accused. The police are currently investigating the case to determine the source of the banned substance.

Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar commended the efforts of the Town police in this successful operation.
