Mumbai: Budget airline SpiceJet reported a six-fold increase in its standalone profit for the January-March quarter of FY24, reaching ₹119 crore compared to ₹16.85 crore in the same period the previous year. Despite this profit surge, revenue from operations declined by 20% to ₹1,719.37 crore, down from ₹2,144.85 crore in Q4 FY23, according to a regulatory filing.
For the entire fiscal year 2023-24, SpiceJet recorded a reduced loss of ₹409.43 crore, a significant improvement from the ₹1,503 crore loss posted in FY23.
