In a shocking development, the investigation into the fatal Worli accident has uncovered disturbing details. The incident, involving the son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah, has taken a grim turn as investigators piece together the events of that fateful night.

Initially reported as a straightforward hit-and-run, the case has revealed a complex web of deceit. Mihir Shah, the primary suspect, allegedly swapped places with his driver, Rajshri Bidawat, after the initial collision. This calculated move appears to have been an attempt to obscure responsibility for the tragedy.

The victim, 45-year-old Kaveri Nakhwa, met a horrific fate. CCTV footage analyzed by Mumbai Police shows her being dragged for approximately 1.5 kilometers after the initial impact. In a chilling sequence of events, the car eventually stopped, and the occupants reportedly moved the victim onto the road. What followed was even more disturbing - the driver allegedly reversed over Mrs. Nakhwa twice, in what investigators suspect was a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters of the investigation.

The role of Rajesh Shah, the accused's father, has also come under scrutiny. Reports suggest he may have aided his son's escape after receiving a distress call. The politician allegedly arrived at the scene in a Mercedes, advised his son to flee, and planned to have the damaged BMW towed away.

While Rajesh Shah has been granted bail on a ₹15,000 provisional cash bond, his son remains at large. Mumbai Police have issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) for Mihir Shah. Meanwhile, the driver, Rajshri Bidawat, faces judicial custody as the investigation continues.
