Hubballi: A portion of the false ceiling at KIMS Hospital's newly constructed PMSSY building collapsed on Friday morning. Fortunately, no one was present when the incident occurred, and there were no injuries, according to sources at KIMS.
Dr. Rajshankar, Medical Superintendent of the PMSSY Wing, confirmed that a section of the false ceiling in the PMSSY Super Speciality building's ground floor suddenly gave way. He emphasized that no one was injured in the incident.
When asked about the reason for the sudden collapse, Dr. Rajshankar stated that they would assess the cause and provide information later.
The incident has caused anxiety among patients and their attendants. The building typically experiences high foot traffic, as major departments of the super speciality wing are located there.
