Newly elected Kolar MP, M Mallesh Babu, has voiced his confidence in the potential induction of state JDS president and former Chief Minister, HD Kumaraswamy, into the Narendra Modi-led Union Cabinet.
Babu, representing JDS and serving as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)
candidate, secured his victory against Congress candidate KV Gowtham by a
substantial margin of 71,388 votes.
Speaking to a section of media here on Sunday, Babu highlighted Kumaraswamy's
extensive political experience, particularly his two tenures as Karnataka’s
Chief Minister.
He also stated that Kumaraswamy is a dedicated politician committed to
addressing public issues and that his inclusion in the Union Cabinet would
benefit the entire nation.
Babu highlighted Kumaraswamy's support for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes,
farmers, and economically weaker sections as Chief Minister, and expressed
confidence that he would continue these welfare initiatives at the national
level.
