Bengaluru: The Karnataka High Court granted anticipatory bail on Tuesday to Bhavani Revanna, mother of former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, in connection with an abduction case registered by the KR Nagar police in Mysuru. Bhavani's husband, former minister HD Revanna and JDS MLA from the Holenarasipura constituency, is also implicated in the case.


Justice Krishna S Dixit, in his ruling, confirmed the interim anticipatory bail granted to Bhavani on June 7. He noted that Bhavani Revanna had responded to 85 questions posed by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) over three days during her appearance before the investigating officer.


The court imposed a condition that Bhavani Revanna must avoid any locations within the territorial limits of Mysuru and Hassan districts, except when required for investigative purposes by the police.
