Hubballi: KLE Society College of Business Administration,
Hubballi, organized a seminaron the topic “Importance of Reading Habit" recently for the 4th semester students.
The seminar aimed to cultivate reading habits among the students to enhance
vocabulary, speak fluent English, increase imagination, and stimulate thoughts.
The resource person was Suhaasini Hangal, Architect and Co-founder at Work
Lounge and Neo-Books Cafe. Her
experience and knowledge inspired the students to develop a passion for
reading. She urged them to develop a healthy reading practice, which gives them
the opportunity to learn about different genres of books.
The students learned
about the availability of different types of books for different personalities
and the preferred books for reading.
Nowadays, the interest in reading books
among students is diminishing, this is due to the more rapid and developing
technology, therefore, the seminar encouraged students to return to the books.
