Indigo Airlines faced backlash from customers after posting a light-hearted social media message about potential flight disruptions due to heavy rainfall in Delhi, which has led to waterlogged streets and at least two fatalities.


The airline's post on X (formerly Twitter) stated: “We have a special announcement straight from the heavenly skies! The rain gods have chosen to bless Delhi with their showers tonight. Consequently, we’re anticipating heavy rainfall throughout the night.”
