Jaipur: Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, addressing the assembly, raised eyebrows by insinuating that a 'foreign hand' among the opposition was actively working to prevent BJP's victory. This claim was echoed by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, the Rajasthan election in-charge, who acknowledged it as a potential factor in the party's diminished seat count.

The meeting, which saw participation from around 8,000 BJP officials and workers, marked the party's first major gathering since the June 4 election results. Sahasrabuddhe, while discussing the loss of 11 out of 25 seats in Rajasthan and approximately 65 seats nationwide, emphasized the need for self-reflection within the party. He urged members to take responsibility for any shortcomings, reminding them that criticism often reflects back on the critic.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma used the platform to reassure party workers of the organization's attentiveness to their efforts, regardless of their position. Sharing his personal experience of unexpected elevation to the chief ministerial role, Sharma emphasized that the party recognizes and rewards the contributions of all its members.
